Choose Learning Topic

For my Learning Topic I chose science . I personally don't like science but it's a very interesting and mysterious matter. I chose to do it because it has to do with all things from space to atoms to e=mc2 and so many things. Well , I chose it because from other people they say science is a very fun and exciting topic so I chose to do it for people who love science. Also , science is a very educational topic so the people who will play my game can have fun but at the same time learn something new. So , science is a very experimental topic, so I also chose it because people can experiment with new things and learn about them. I hope people will like my game and learn something valuable out of it.

Play to Learn ; Part 1

The games I played were pretty weird and confusing. I really didn't understand what to do , the instructions weren't clear enough and I just didn't like them. Eitherway, there was this one game that I really liked called "Coming Home" , it really made me ponder out some ideas of what I would like to do in my game. It was about the player trying to save some animals from the streets and get them safely to their homes but at the same time the game was teaching how to identify words as Prefixes or Suffixes. That game really inspired me to create a game that helps out animals but at the same it's fun and enjoyable to play. I think that Animal Abuse is a pretty big issue in life , and I think it would be so great for me to make a game that teaches people about animal abuse and what they can do to stop it. I hope to do some critical thinking and sort out my ideas on how to do it , ahhhh I'm excited :)

Baack , to schoool ;

Whooo ! I love that I am blogging again , just putting it out there because blogging rules. Well , school hasn't been easy these past weeks , let's just say that there has been many challenges. Something that I didn't really like is some of the teachers , not being rude or anything but it's kind of hard to adjust to a whole set of new teachers. I kind of wished that my old teachers were here because I felt more comfortable with them and the way they taught. I know that they are not coming back but it's very hard for me to adjust. Also the schedules , they are a mess right now. Many students are having a hard time understanding them because they are constantly changing. That's the thing , I thought that the school needed to be more organized and they weren't. I don't understand why they didn't organize everything before school started. Anyways , enough of the negative things , I really like that we finally have a gym. Yeahhh Budddy ; that's amazing , now we don't have to work or play outside in the hotness. The gym is pretty big and I can't wait to play more sports in there. The MOST important thing is that I get to see my friends , some I don't have classes with but I still make the best of it to try to talk to them. It's amazing seeing my friends again , norma,raqueloo,juanaa,carloss,lupitaa,rodolfoo,migueel,sujeidy,

greciaa,juan, and many moreee ;) we have so much fun , it;s just great to see them everyday. I think that's pretty much it , I just really hope that as the year goes it gets more better and more much Funnnnnn ,^__^ . Wish me LUCKKK , blaaah !

1. What did you think about the article?


Mmmm , What did I think about the article , ? . Oh yeah, I thought that it was really interesting how this guy wrote a review about the games we made. He gave a really good review about it, he talked about the games we made, how, and how much worked we put into it. Also, he talked about the Globeys, how they were really entertaining and very sophisticated.


2. How did it make you feel to read about your school and GLobaloria, a program that you participate in.


I was actually really surprised that somebody was talking about our school in the Newspaper. I mean, it was like the first time that I've ever seen someone talk about our school like that. It was really an AWESOME thing that somebody could of ever done. Very good review of the Globeys :)

4. If your game was not featured in the article, what would you like for the author to have said about your game? 


For starters, I did not finish my game. If I was to finish my game, I'd actually like the author to say what my game was about , what it was teaching and how fun it was. I also would like the author to give it's own opinion about my game, his thoughts and how my game was.


5. Which game do you think the author should have mentioned in his article and why? 


I thought that they should of mentioned my classmate's game which was called D4est. It was honestly one of the BEST games that I played, I learned a lot and it was really COOL.

1.What do you think this documentary will be about , ?


I think that this documentary will be about food, what kind of food people eat. Since it says Forks Over Knives, I thought of food at that instant because forks and knives both have to do with food. 


2.What do you think the title implies or indicates about the film , ?


I think that the title implies to use forks over knives but that sounds like a weird topic for a movie. Maybe it's indicating that something specific is better than something else, it may be trying to show people to use this instead of that.
